Plyco is seeking to recruit an experienced and energetic Retail or Trade  Sales Person to join our friendly Fairfield team.

General responsibilities include:

  • Providing customers with both a friendly and high quality service
  • Answering sales enquiries both over the counter, email and by phone in a courteous and helpful manner
  • Preparing sales quotes and orders for trade and retail customers
  • Playing an active role in the sales team to achieve store revenue and profit targets
  • Cash handling
  • Data Entry
  • Assisting customers in our warehouse

Selection Criteria: Essential skills/experience:

  • While experience in the timber panel industry is not required a willingness to learn on the job is essential
  • The ability to work as a member of a team
  • Great follow-up skills combined with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • A strong work ethic
  • Competent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook & basic Excel
