About the Role

As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of residential construction projects. You will collaborate closely with our sales, administration, and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery from initial quote to final construction.

This position requires a full-time presence at our Bairnsdale office. To support our team's collaborative environment, we are not considering remote applicants at this time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Accurately interpreting building plans and designs to create detailed material and labour pricing estimates using the G.J. Gardner estimating system, from job commencement to completion.
• Developing templates and estimates for standard G.J. Gardner designs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintaining an up-to-date and competitive Price Book within the G.J. Software, promptly adjusting prices to reflect market conditions.
• Identifying any potential delays to the job and mitigating consequences in a timely manner.
• Utilising the Construction Scheduling System within the G.J. Software to create and maintain accurate project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and team members.

• Experienced Estimator: You possess substantial knowledge of the residential construction industry, with demonstrated experience estimating costs for various project types.
