Sustainable Pty Ltd is a small Design & Construction company with over 40 years' experience in delivering award-winning, design-led sustainable homes across Brisbane, the Darling and Southern Downs and broader south-east Queensland.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a part-time employee or ABN contractor Accounts Bookkeeper.

This position requires:

  • A minimum of 15 hours per week
  • 5 years' experience in a similar position using MYOB
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Office Suite, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Sound mathematical skills, high administration/organisational skills and be team focused in a small office
  • An ability to work unsupervised, handle pressure and work to deadlines
  • Must be available to work within normal business hours

Main Responsibilities (but not exclusive of):

  • MYOB data entry for Accounts Receivable/Payable
  • Employment payroll, including superannuation processing
  • Daily sales and bank reconciliation in MYOB
  • Preparing operations reports monthly
  • Maintaining a daily cash flow
  • Ensuring company compliance with internal and external accounting policies
  • Organised office management
  • General administration duties as required

*Previous experience using MYOB and Excel is essential

*Prior accounts experience in the Building & Construction industry is preferred
