All Hallows' School, a Catholic Mercy school for girls from Years 5–12, seeks to appoint an ICT Support Officer to join our Community.

The ICT Support Officer is part of a collaborative team, working under the direction of the Head of ICT Services. The ICT Support Officer will provide organisational assistance in the day-to-day operations of the department.

Key Responsibilities

Provide the first point of contact for students, staff and parents through providing phone, email, Web Desk ticket, and face-to-face counter support

Providing first-level troubleshooting and managing hardware, software and network problems using remote support tool diagnosis.

monitor the service management system, ensuring that all jobs are correctly logged; fault details are fully recorded. Ensure attention to details (serial numbers, model numbers, etc.) is maintained

ensure all work undertaken is completed in a safe and timely manner, ensuring compliance with all workplace health and safety standards

maintaining computer equipment

provide first-level troubleshooting, determining appropriate action or escalation

assist in the provision of support to staff and students on software and hardware usage

Role Requirements

Hold and maintain a current Queensland Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card).

Have approval to work in Australia.

Have or maintain the appropriate clearances, qualifications or registrations required to perform the inherent functions of the role.
