It’s an exciting time for us as we experience organic growth. As a result, we are looking for an experienced, energetic Digital Radio specialist to join our successful and experienced team based in Brisbane.

**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a Radio (RF) Communications Systems Engineers to join our team to support the Digital Land Mobile Radio System and infrastructure engineering team, with a specific focus on solutions into the resource sector.

**The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to**:

- Providing RF solutions and consultation with focus on (but not limited to) DMR, TETRA and P25 digital radio systems.
- Liaising with other team members to provide the best solution for the customer.
- Designing, optimising, upgrading and maintenance of radio communications systems (including antenna systems, repeaters, earthing, power, propagation analysis, dispatch, subscriber equipment programming and backbone design)
- Assist with monitoring the overall reliability, capacity and performance of communications systems and equipment including installation/upgrade troubleshooting and maintenance support.
- Develop technical documentation, drawings, BOMs, presentations, and training.
- Complete site surveys and system audits, determining potential risks and solution-based infrastructure/power requirements.
- Perform desktop analysis including propagation, intermodulation, adjacent channel, antenna system loss and RF system traffic loading analysis.
- Support the team in all technical stages of projects.
- Develop and perform acceptance testing and installation engineering inspections.
- Present and discuss technical solutions with clients.

**As an experienced RF Engineer you will be able to demonstrate**:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, or communications systems engineering or similar discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of VHF and UHF digital radio equipment and standards (P25, TETRA, DMR, etc.)
- Knowledge of design guidelines, standards and requirements associated with design, building and upgrading of radio communication sites (including ACMA, ARPANSA, AS/NZS, IEEE, etc.)
- Understanding of network design guidelines and concepts.
- High attention to details and excellent communication skills.
