The Opportunity
We're searching for a National Account Manager – Indies to take ownership of select retailers across our Independent Retail portfolios.
Reporting to the National Business Manager, you'll be the key point of contact for your customers, driving commercial outcomes and building strong partnerships in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
You'll collaborate across Marketing, Category, Supply, Field and eCommerce to deliver customer plans, launch new products, and grow sales across the Pet Specialty channel.
What You'll Do
- Manage sales forecasting, spend, and promotions using tools like Power BI and Blueshift
- Own and grow customer relationships, ensuring smooth communication and strong execution
- Lead claims management, budget control, and commercial performance of your portfolio
- Support new product launches, promotional activity, and category reviews
- Drive profitability and margin enhancement through smart planning and negotiation
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of private label products from concept to shelf
About You
You're an energetic, commercially savvy professional who thrives on challenge and collaboration. You bring:
- 3+ years' experience as a National Account Executive, Field Sales, or similar
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven financial and analytical acumen
- Deep understanding of the Independent Retail / Pet Specialty landscape (Brick & Mortar and/or eCommerce)
- Proven experience in the management of claims, budgets, and leading trading terms negotiation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, IRI, Power BI, and Blueshift (preferred)
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
