Park Hill has been established for 12 years and continue to secure new sites to develop and as a result, their team is continuing to grow organically.
We currently have 4 estates at various stages of delivery, yielding over 400 lots.
We provide an end-to-end model in our community estates whereby our related building arm completes the house construction once the land is registered
The Opportunity
We're seeking a motivated and proactive Assistant Development Manager to join our collaborative and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to step up and grow your career in a dynamic environment where your contributions matter.
This role is ideal for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years' experience in land development who is looking to gain exposure across all aspects of the development cycle. You'll support the end-to-end delivery of residential projects, working closely external consultants, authorities and contractors as well as our internal home building team.
The role would suit an existing Assistance Development Manager looking for their next role or a Project Manager working for a developer, consultancy or civil contractor looking to move into development.
What You'll Do
- Work alongside the Senior Development Manager to deliver residential projects from acquisition through to delivery and handover to the build team.
- Manage consultants and civil contractors, including preparing scopes/tenders
- Liaise with Council's and other external authorities
- Prepare and manage feasibilities, invoices, budgets, programs, approvals and reporting
- Coordinate compliance, planning, and construction documentation
What You'll Bring
- 3 years' experience in property development, either from a developer, civil contractor or civil consultancy
- A tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, planning, property, or similar
- Experience with Estate Master or other feasibility modelling (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- A current driver's license and vehicle
