About the role
You will be responsible for producing materials that enhance Council's service delivery and encourage information exchange across Council, its staff and the Community. You will champion the continued integrations of digital opportunities for Council communications, while proactively delivering dynamic and integrated communications that promote relevant, accurate and timely information.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualifications in a discipline such as marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or similar field.
- Exceptional writing skills across a range of platforms demonstrating an ability to successfully deliver to different audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in developing digital content, curating communication schedules and adhering to social media policies.
- Take initiative in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the organisation.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement current and emerging priorities.
- Proven experience in providing excellent customer service, ideally in monitoring and managing online customer feedback on social media platforms.
- Current skills in photography, videography and editing, including related applications e.g. Adobe suite, Canva, event ticketing platforms.
- Current NSW Class C Driver Licence.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Salary range:
From $1911 per week (+ super) to $2213 per week (+ super) dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate.
