Master Built Homes Pty Ltd is a South Australian home builder specialising in high-quality single, double, and group homes. We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our growing team and contribute to the design and documentation of civil works supporting our residential and small-scale development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and documentation for residential developments.
  • Draft and design works relating to drainage, water supply, sewerage systems, roadworks, and site levels.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret engineering data to support design requirements.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and specifications.
  • Estimate materials and costs to assist with budgeting and project planning.
  • Liaise with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and local authorities to deliver practical and compliant solutions.
  • Assist in site inspections, surveys, and supervision of civil engineering works when required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
  • Experience in civil drafting, ideally in residential or subdivision projects.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) or similar drafting software.
  • Good understanding of Australian Standards, NCC, and local council requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects concurrently.
