The Role

We have been awarded major ongoing security contracts and as we continue to grow, we need another Draftsperson to join our Team on a full-time or part-time basis – our workplace promotes flexibility, you decide

This is a key role within our organisation and incorporates several responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Using AutoCAD LT 2023, Base layout plan drafting, drafting building and structure outlines, locations of internal security, cabling runs, electrical, civil and trenching, location drawings
• O&M Manual draft writing and final creation for client submission
• Liaise with relevant Team Members and Stakeholders
• Confidently make decisions and explain design concepts to non-technical personnel
• Potential attendance to project meetings and/or sites to review and develop plans
• Project and Drawing register management and Updates
• Management of Draft, For Construction and As Built drawings
• Management of the ITP process, Completion Sign-Offs and submissions
• Design Briefs

About You

To succeed in this role, we would expect you to have the following credentials, capabilities and qualities:

• You may be an engineering, architecture or drafting graduate with appropriate Autodesk (AutoCAD LT) experience
• Autodesk (AutoCAD LT) software training and/or experience is required
• Experience in commercial drafting is preferred, but not essential
• Project administration experience would be an advantage, but not essential
• South Australian Drivers Licence
• Police Check Certificate
• White Card is preferred, but not essential
• Eye for detail and able to read plans and schematics effectively
• Proficient IT skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office 365
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively unsupervised and as part of a Team
• Prioritise tasks and deliver works within appropriate time frames
• High attention to detail, organised, professional, reliable and well presented
• An understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements
  Willing to learn new technologies and undergo training
