Role:

RJE Global is currently seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Draftsperson to join our team. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to diverse projects.  As an Electrical Draftsperson, you will play a key role in the development of electrical drawings and documentation critical to project delivery. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and on-site teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality electrical drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting tools, including single line diagrams, electrical schematics, panel and substation layouts and bills of materials.
• Prepare detailed production drawings to support manufacturing processes.
• Develop and coordinate interface between structures and equipment to be installed.
• Ensure timely delivery of documentation aligned with tight project schedules.
• Provide support for tendering, manufacturing, and construction teams concerning details on drawing.
• Adhere to industry standards, company protocols, and project-specific requirements.

Required:

• Strong proficiency in MS packages.
• Advanced AutoCAD experience essential.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical CAD drafting, for HV, LV, secondary and communications.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with medium-to-large scale infrastructure projects.
• Microstation Proficiency Advantageous
• Diploma of Electrical Engineering or A-Grade electrical license advantageous. - Having good background knowledge will take a lot of review and revise time off Engineering.
• Knowledge and understanding of Australian electrical regulations and Australian Standards advantageous.
