Beaumont Tiles is a prominent Australian retailer specializingin tiles, bathroomware, and flooring solutions. Over the decades, we have expanded to become Australia's largest tile merchant, operating over 115 stores nationwide, including showrooms, Studios, Clearance Centres, and Trade Centres. The company offers a comprehensive range of products and services catering for business and residential needs.

Our stores at Prospect, NSW have numerous ongoing projects which require specialist project administrators managing these projects. You will be predominately working from our Prospect office. It is a full-time permanent position with attractive remuneration.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Prepare tenders, contracts, and other construction-related documentation.
  • Measuring drawings and compiling trade specific Bills of Quantities to ensure our team has the most accurate information for quotes.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of project plan and ensure accuracy with our project quotes, tenders.
  • Conduct in-depth market research in relation to material and labour costs, equipment hire and the latest building products.
  • Develop, review, and negotiate variations to contracts, programs, projects, and services.
  • Liaise with clients for post-tender submissions and maintain communication until award.
  • Conduct regular onsite visit and monitor projects progress, examines equipment and materials, ensuring adequate labour force and projects are according to plan.
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients, architects, engineers, site supervisors, contractors and other stake holders, ensuring high standards of products and service are maintained.
  • Record and analyse projects data, prepare management reports, and ensuring project specifics are fully documented.
  • Resolve conflicts, and advise senior management on critical issue.
  • Engaging in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.

Qualifications & experience:

  • Diploma or higher with 2+ years prior experience or at least 3 years project experience are preferred
  • Background in commercial/residential construction an advantage.
  • Tiling/ Waterproofing or remedial construction experience is desirable.
  • High computer literacy and effective time management
  • Ability to review project and engineering documentations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passion for the construction/renovation industry and a willingness to learn.

Pay: $79,000 + super
