About the Role
As a Warehouse Officer, you'll be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You'll help maintain inventory integrity, ensure timely order fulfillment, and contribute to a safe and organised warehouse environment. This is a hands-on role that supports continuous improvement and excellent customer service outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory records using manual and digital systems
- Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts
- Ensure safe and proper storage, labelling, and handling of goods
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners)
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
- Assist with returns, damaged goods, and warranty processes
- Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams
- Support process improvements and workflow optimisation
What You'll Bring
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Forklift and warehouse equipment operation skills
- Experience with inventory systems and MS Office
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset
- Knowledge of WHS standards and manual handling procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- 2–3 years of warehouse operations experience
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g. Odoo, SAP, Pronto, NetSuite)
- Current forklift license (essential)
- Current driver's license
- WHS training and compliance knowledge
