About the role

We are seeking an experienced and extremely organized individual to join our team at our Dandenong South warehouse.  As our hands on Warehouse Manager, you will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and responsible for ensuring that our warehouse operates efficiently, effectively and safely.  Leading a small team, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and optimize warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Organization of work activities in the warehouse
  • All inbound and outbound inventory movements
  • Secure storage of inventory in the warehouse
  • Efficient utilization of warehouse space and equipment
  • Loading and unloading of containers and delivery vehicles
  • Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe and presentable at all times
  • Compliance with, and implementation of WHS policies and procedures, ensuring all staff comply

About You

  • To be considered for this position you will have:
  • A minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • A Certificate in Warehouse Management will be highly regarded
  • Current driver's license is a must
  • Forklift license is a must
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management

Candidates will be required to exhibit the following attributes:

  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines
