Your duties would include but would not be limited to:

  • Assisting walk-in customers and trade account holders with product advice and sales

  • Processing orders in-store, over the phone, and via email

  • Preparing and packing orders for dispatch or pick-up

  • Receiving and unpacking stock deliveries

  • Organising and maintaining the store and warehouse area

  • Inventory management and stock control, including stocktakes

  • Coordinating with suppliers to source and quote non-stock items

  • Maintaining product knowledge and staying up to date with new items

  • Operating the POS and ERP systems with accuracy

  • General housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe workspace

Skills required for the job would include:

  • Previous experience in internal sales / electrical wholesale (preferred)

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Good product knowledge of electrical components or a willingness to learn

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing

  • Reliable and punctual work ethic

  • Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory or sales systems

  • Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)

  • Physical ability to lift and move stock safely

  • Drivers licence
