As a Sales Representative for T&R (Technology & Research), you will be responsible for sales growth of specialty gasses by developing strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders - specializing in high purity products, as well as specialized gas mixtures for a variety of purposes including lab equipment and calibration purposes.

The role will be a combination of outbound sales, finding and developing opportunities for Air Liquide to provide its products and services and account management - ensuring strong partnerships with our existing customers.

**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:

- Develop relationships with prospects and customers to grow
- Coordinate customer training when necessary
- Investigate and resolve customer issues on all levels, provide technical and practical assistance where necessary
- Travel in the assigned territory, visiting prospective and existing customers
- Maintain customer portfolios
- Develop relationships at both a business and a technical level within customer and industry organisation
- Ensure all customers have a current standard contract
- Manage contract compliance
- Participate in other work and projects as required from time to time
- Gather market information to support in decision making
- Comply to the health and safety regulations and initiatives

**Are you a MATCH?**:

- Technical experience within the chemical or lab industry is an advantage
- A team player that is keen in building lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience in sales
- Proven ability to close sales
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to operate within a multi-line reporting framework
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence
- Up to 3 years experience in a similar capacity
- Computer literacy and ability to proficiently use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Experience in Google Suites (Advantageous)
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments
- Can do attitude with initiative to drive change and take ownership of change
