About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join a highly respected, established media brand within the design sector. This role sits within a dynamic and collaborative sales team that partners closely with Australia's leading names in design, construction, and creative industries.
You'll be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of loyal clients while driving new business across a multi-channel media offering, including digital, print, podcast, social, awards programs, and content marketing solutions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sydney-based media sales professional who enjoys solution-based selling, thrives on building long-term client relationships, and wants to represent a well-known, trusted brand with a highly engaged professional audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach.
- Sell across multiple platforms including digital, print, social, events, and awards programs.
- Build strong, consultative relationships with clients across the design and construction sectors.
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to deepen market knowledge.
- Maintain CRM records and pipeline accuracy (Salesforce).
About You
- 3–5 years' experience in
media or agency sales, or a closely related industry
. - Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Confident communicator who can engage with senior marketing stakeholders.
- Strong time management and account planning skills.
- Motivated, professional, and commercially minded.
- Knowledge of the architecture, design, or construction industries is a plus, but not essential.
