AFC has partnered with Australia's leading supermarket chain to introduce its successful hybrid sushi program. Our sushi is prepared fresh daily, in-store with high quality ingredients and is conveniently packaged for customers to eat any time of the day.

Our rapidly expanding business is always looking for new people that are passionate about food and making sushi.

We are currently in need of a Sushi Chef to join our Central Kitchen Operations in Riverwood NSW.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

· Prepare sushi and related food products to a high standard and quality including, but not limited to, cooking rice, rolling sushi, cutting and packaging

· Produce all products with care to ensure they are ready as and when required for despatch

· Ensure wholesale kitchen and surrounds are kept well organised, clean, safe and free from clutter at all times

· Strictly comply with AFC's Food Safety and Quality Management System 'FSQMS', Recipe Guide and Standard Operating Procedures 'SOP'

· Undertake opening and closing procedures as and when required

· Be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

· Receive supplier deliveries; rotate stock on a FIFO basis and ensure chilled good are refrigerated, frozen goods remain frozen; and ambient goods are stored off the floor in their designated area

Successful candidate will need to:

· Be available Monday - Friday 2 pm to 10 pm

· Be able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment

· Have previous experience in making sushi

· Have excellent organisation and time management

· Be a team player

Further training will be provided to all successful candidates.
