Lotterywest is also the employing agency for Healthway, the only State Government department dedicated to health promotion. For over 30 years, Healthway has funded projects and research to inspire Western Australians to live healthier lives.

About the Role:

The Market Research Analyst (internally known as Market Intelligence Analyst) is responsible for supporting research and market intelligence activities for Lotterywest and Healthway relating to Marketing, Responsible Gambling (Player Safety), Grants and Retail.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Market and Industry Benchmarking

  • Macro-environmental scanning

  • Research Analysis and Reporting

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

Essential Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated experience in a variety of research stages and methods, including quantitative and qualitative research.

  2. Demonstrated experience analysing and reporting on multiple pieces of research and data sources, to produce actionable insights to internal stakeholders.

  3. Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple initiatives to ensure completion of tasks within agreed timeframes

  4. Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate industry, category, and brand research into actionable insights for various stakeholders.

  5. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to influence and build collaborative relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
