What's so exciting about this role

The Asset Management team is responsible for managing customers through the term of their finance agreements and the end of term. In this role, you will provide a high level of service to our customers, brokers and colleagues, providing knowledgeable and timely responses to requests.

What does an average day look like?

No day is average at hummgroup, but here's an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:

  • Respond to customer, broker, and internal requests promptly, via email or phone, delivering exceptional service.
  • Prepare and provide payout letters, invoices, and contract-related documentation.
  • Accurately calculate and explain payout amounts, including asset-level breakdowns on a customer finance contract
  • Manage asset returns, contract reconciliations, terminations, and security releases (PPSR).
  • Identify and allocate incoming payments to correct contracts.
  • Work collaboratively with Collections, Credit & Risk, and Accounts Receivable teams.

We are also looking for someone who brings:

  • Degree qualified in a finance-related field (e.g. commerce, economics, accounting, business).
  • Proven customer service focus and strong written/verbal communication.
  • Experience with loan, rental, or finance lease products.
  • Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and decision-making skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Organised, proactive, and adaptable with solid time management and admin skills.
