We're seeking a Syndicated Loan Officer to join the Credit & Marketing Division of an international financial institution based in Sydney CBD.

This role will assist the Division Manager and Corporate Loan Manager in the daily operations of corporate and syndicated loans, including credit assessment, loan documentation, and compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, as the role involves communication with Mandarin-speaking corporate clients, financial institutions, and syndication partners.

*What You'll Be Doing:*

  • Assist in the daily management of syndicated and corporate loan portfolios
  • Conduct credit analysis and prepare high-quality loan proposals and reports
  • Liaise with corporate clients and syndication agent banks
  • Monitor loan accounts and ensure timely reviews and updates
  • Obtain, verify, and maintain KYC documentation in line with AML/CTF rules
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit, risk, and regulatory frameworks
  • Maintain accurate loan records and participate in ongoing compliance training

What You'll Need:

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English – written and verbal (essential)
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, or a related field
  • Tier 2 Certificate (minimum 100 hours)
  • Experience in corporate or syndicated lending and credit analysis
  • Knowledge of credit policy, AML/CTF, FTRA, and Privacy Act requirements
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
