About the position

As a Loan Administrator within the Investments Team, you'll play a key role in supporting the Credit Execution Team and ensuring the smooth ongoing management of the loan portfolio across both the Income Credit and Total Return Credit strategies. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate portfolio data, supporting investor reporting, and assisting with asset management processes.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor ongoing information undertakings and conditions subsequent across the loan portfolio, including tracking due dates, requesting client information, and updating systems to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Support the Investment Team in asset management and investor reporting processes, including preparing reporting templates and ensuring data integrity across systems.
  • Manage loan settlements, including maintaining settlement records and liaising with external legal teams and internal loan administrators.
  • Oversee interest servicing and interest reserve accounts to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist with loan drawdowns, repayments, and other transactional activities as required.
  • Maintain a high level of data accuracy across loan management systems.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for ad hoc requests from the Credit Investment Team.

What you'll bring to the role

  • At least 5 years' experience in loan administration, middle office, or funds management operations.
  • Strong knowledge of finance concepts and loan documentation.
  • Advanced Excel and data management skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, business, commerce, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Experience in real estate finance or real estate-backed investments will be highly regarded.
