The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, a newly created Loan Settlements Officer role has been established. Reporting to the highly experienced Director of Treasury Operations, you will manage the end-to-end settlements process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence while also supporting broader treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile the timely, accurate settlement of loans, money market instruments and derivatives.
  • Monitor and verify trade details, investigating and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed settlement and reconciliation reports to support compliance and audit.
  • Support treasury system testing, enhancements, and user acceptance testing for Quantum TMS.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, automation, and accuracy in settlement workflows.
  • Assist with financial accounting duties including reconciliations and month-end support.
  • Partner with internal teams to strengthen controls, reporting quality and system use.

About You

  • 5+ years' settlements experience from banking, treasury, or financial services.
  • Hands-on Quantum TMS experience highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
