Carwatha College P–12 is seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly organised Marketing & Office Administration Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, thrives in a fast-paced school environment, and is passionate about showcasing the strengths of our college to the wider community.

About the Role

This is a partime role of 3 days per week. The successful candidate will need to work from the school. You will not need to work during school holidays.

This dual-focus position combines marketing responsibilities with key administrative duties that support the daily operations of the school.

In the marketing component of the role, you will:

  • Develop engaging advertising and promotional materials for school campaigns.
  • Manage and grow the college's social media presence across Facebook and Instagram.
  • Maintain and update the college website to ensure information is current, accessible and appealing.
  • Create content that celebrates student achievements, school programs and community events.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating and promoting major school events such as Open Days, Information Nights and Awards Nights.
  • Contribute to strategies aimed at increasing community engagement and student enrolments.

In the office administration component of the role, you will:

  • Coordinate student enrolment and exit processes with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Answer phone and front-of-office enquiries in a warm, professional manner.
  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, correspondence and assisting staff, students and families.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a friendly, supportive office team.

About You

We are looking for a proactive team member who:

  • Has experience in marketing, communications or office administration (school experience highly regarded but not essential).
  • Brings creativity, attention to detail and strong digital communication skills.
  • Is confident using social media platforms, website content management systems and basic design tools.
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to positive community engagement.
  • Is organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
