As a Victorian-owned and operated business, our retail showroom showcases our commitment to design and quality. We're now seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Administration Executive to join our growing Melbourne team.

This role reports directly to the Store Manager and focuses on supporting day-to-day operations, serving customers, and driving sales performance through exceptional service and attention to detail.

If you're organised, proactive, and love variety, this role offers a perfect mix of sales, customer service, and admin responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for customer and sales inquiries (in person, phone, and email)
  • Manage sales enquiries and prepare quotations for new and existing customers
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across corporate, education, and trade sectors
  • Process sales orders, prepare purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers for delivery timelines
  • Liaise with the Store Manager and operations team to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Maintain accurate records of customer details, sales orders, and deliveries
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks and general office support
  • Occasionally assist with light duties across related businesses as needed

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of customer service or sales administration experience (furniture or warehouse background ideal)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with MYOB or Zoho (preferred but not essential)
  • Positive attitude, initiative, and strong attention to detail
  • Create and manage Facebook ads; support digital marketing campaigns (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
  • Full working rights in Australia
