True Synergy is a boutique consulting firm that partners with inspiring not-for-profit associations, particularly in the science and environmental sectors. We help them thrive by managing their key operations, from dynamic websites and impactful communications to curating large-scale conferences and technical webinars.
We're looking for a savvy and autonomous Marketing & Communications Coordinator to manage the digital presence and communications for a diverse portfolio of our clients. This is a hands-on position for someone who gets a kick from seeing a campaign through from idea to execution.
About the Role:
In this part-time role (3 days per week, flexible work days/hours), you'll be the go-to marketing expert for our clients. You'll need to be a self-starter, comfortable managing your own workload and collaborating with external graphic designers to produce polished work. If you're the type of person who is organised, creatively minded, and knows how to make a brand sing across different channels, we want to hear from you.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Digital Campaigns: Crafting and deploying eDM campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp and CRM systems.
- Website Management: Taking ownership of client websites including, updating content, managing event listings, and liaising with developers for technical enhancements.
- Social Media Strategy: Primarily focused on LinkedIn, you'll develop content, schedule posts, and grow engagement.
- Event & Brand Collateral: Creating everything from digital ads to flyers and banners using tools like Canva, ensuring all materials adhere to brand guidelines.
- Communications Coordination: Building content calendars and working with partner organisations to promote events and initiatives.
This job does not start until mid January 2026.
About You:
- You have 2-3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, where you've been responsible for the hands-on delivery of digital content.
· You have a knack for clear and engaging writing, with the ability to adapt your tone for different channels, from professional LinkedIn posts to compelling marketing emails.
- You're proficient with the essentials: Canva, Mailchimp (or a similar eDM platform), basic CMS (like WordPress), and LinkedIn.
- You're organised and can juggle multiple clients without letting the ball drop. You enjoy creating and following processes to keep everything on track.
- You have an eye for good design and know how to brief and collaborate with graphic designers to get the best results.
- Most importantly, you're autonomous. You don't need to be micromanaged; you're confident taking a brief and running with it, bringing your ideas to the table.
