Huhtamaki is organised across multiple business segments and Huhtamaki Foodservice Packaging Oceania sits within the Foodservice Europe-Asia-Oceania (EAO) business segment, which operates across Europe, Asia, Oceania, Middle East and Africa. We are one of the largest manufacturers, importers and distributors of foodservice packaging in ANZ, with offices and warehouses in 8 sites across 5 states in Australia, including a manufacturing facility in Windsor, NSW and a distribution centre in Henderson, New Zealand. The business provides finished packaging products to a wide network of customers from global to local QSR businesses, as well as metropolitan and regional packaging wholesalers, food wholesalers, and club and hospitality suppliers.
About The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a driven and action orientated Office Manager to join our team in the Winston Hills office.
This role is a full time position and is the opportunity to be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations and provide high level administrative support to the Winston Hills office. This includes mail distribution, tenancy leases, insurances, contract reviews, maintain company records and various equipment reviews.
The right candidate will be hard working, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, will be accountable, reliable and positive office culture ambassador.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
• General office duties ensuring that all office amenities, supplies, and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
• Coordinate office events including monthly presentations and social activities, catering appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with branding guidelines within areas of responsibility, e.g. stationery, office appearance.
• Participate in projects as required from time to time as they impact the office environment.
• Assist to promote workplace health and safety in all distribution centres.
• Maintain site security and employee identification card.
• Act as the first point of contact for office-related enquiries.
• Assist the General Manager with preparing and submitting expenses, diary management, preparation for formal meetings.
• Booking travel arrangements and reservations for Foodservice leadership team
• Ad hoc administrative support.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Previous experience as an office manager and/or office coordinator is essential.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
• An action orientated and driven operator with attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Teams
• Well presented, and good interpersonal skills.
• Be a culture ambassador – have a positive "can do" attitude and work ethic
