Role Overview

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Finance Division. This role is responsible for recording, analyzing, and reporting the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business decisions and maintaining trust through accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all TIC bank accounts
  • Manage daily cash requirements and ensure timely creditor payments
  • Oversee Fixed Assets and Lease registers, including capitalization, disposals, and posting depreciation/amortization
  • Coordinate annual fixed asset verification exercises
  • Reconcile key general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepayments, credit cards, and head office accounts
  • Manage standing journals and month-end adjustments
  • Assist with insurance claims, quarterly group reporting, and audit preparations
  • Support Job Cost projects in BMS, including DA coordination, foreign currency handling, and credit checks
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, Toshiba policies, and financial reporting requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Completed or working towards an accounting qualification (CPA/CA)
  • 3–5 years' experience in accounting or finance
  • Knowledge of enterprise accounting software (e.g., Netsuite)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
