Role Description

This is a full-time position, based in our Preston, VIC office. A
large portion of your time will be spent 'out on the road' with clients, attending meetings and conducting site visits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting the company's portfolio of premium pro-audio brands. You will play a key role in growing the company's client base and driving revenue.

The following duties form part of this role:

  • Researching the market, identifying and engaging with prospects
  • Attending meetings with clients and prospects and closing sales
  • Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales and opportunities
  • Working to sales targets
  • Designing and quoting system solutions
  • Managing clients and prospect information in our CRM
  • Following up on leads and opportunities
  • Attending to queries from clients and end users, p

roviding support, information and guidance
- Identifying business strengths and customer needs
- Preparing reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information
- Maintaining a high level of service by establishing and enforcing standards
- Developing and maintaining technical product and industry knowledge

Qualifications

  • Sales and relationship management skills, including lead generation, client engagement, and account maintenance
  • Business development skills such as strategic planning, identifying market opportunities, and executing growth initiatives
  • Technical knowledge of pro-audio and AV products and their applications, with the ability to communicate these to clients effectively
  • Strong presentation, and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive approach to achieving targets and meeting deadlines
  • Experience with CRM tools and familiarity with sales reporting
  • Prior experience in the pro-audio / AV industry

Some remote travel is required, calling on interstate and rural clients and prospects and setting-up and attending trade shows and roadshows.

Remuneration includes a base salary plus uncapped commission plan.

A vehicle allowance, mobile phone and laptop computer will be supplied to you as part of this role along with product training and marketing support to ensure you have all of the tools necessary to exceed in the role.

This role is based in our Preston office, but some remote work is also possible.

A valid driver's license is a requirement of this role.
