Harrop Engineering is an Australian owned multi-national Manufacturer/Supplier/ Wholesaler of Automotive Aftermarket Performance Products.

Our superbly engineered Performance and 4x4 products are designed and developed in house, and then distributed worldwide through a network of Dealers and industry leading workshops. You will be working alongside people who are passionate about what they do and proud of our business heritage over the last 70 years.

We are seeking an experienced and results driven Parts sales and Customer service extraordinaire to join our internal Sales team. Reporting to the Aftermarket Sales & Service Team Leader, the ideal candidate will have an Automotive or mechanical background (preferably with Aftermarket performance experience), proven understanding of parts interpreting / selection, unparalleled customer service and communication, and be driven by a passion for quality, innovation and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

* Work within a driven small team of salespeople to process product and sales enquiries via email, phone and walk-in enquiries with high levels of attention to detail

* Develop and manage relationships with customers through exceptional customer service

* Educate customers on the Harrop product range and accurately advise on correct product application and performance

* Perform daily sales department tasks including collaboration with Production and Warehouse teams

To be successful for this role you must be able to demonstrate:

* A broad understanding, in depth knowledge and prior experience as a parts interpreter or salesperson (Performance automotive aftermarket industry experience will be highly regarded)

* Proven ability to understand and effectively communicate automotive technical information to customers

* Exceptional time management and organisational skills with high attention to detail

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Proficient computer skills with demonstrated abilities in Microsoft Office programs, especially excel

* A positive can-do attitude and an ability to work alongside team members in a fast paced environment

* Proven ability to work under pressure and achieve results without direct supervision

* Ability to prioritise workload and tasks in order to meet deadlines

* Current Drivers licence
