Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef De Partie located in Sydney, NSW. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes, following the restaurant's standards and recipes. Daily tasks include managing a specific section of the kitchen, supervising and training junior staff, ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are met, and contributing to menu planning and development. The role requires dedication to maintaining high-quality food and presentation standards.

Qualifications

  • Professional cooking, knife handling, and kitchen management skills
  • Experience in preparing Italian and/or Mediterranean cuisine
  • Food hygiene and safety compliance, and quality control expertise
  • Ability to supervise and train junior kitchen staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a high-end restaurant is desirable
