Gold Coast Blinds and Shutters is a proudly local business with years of experience supplying and installing quality blinds, shutters, and curtains across the Gold Coast. With steady growth, we're now looking for the right person to join our small, supportive team.
About the RoleWe're seeking an enthusiastic and organised team member to take on a customer service and job scheduling role. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers and play a key part in keeping jobs moving smoothly from enquiry to installation.
This is an office-based position in our Currumbin Waters showroom. We're ideally looking for casual staff, with the opportunity to work full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities- Answering phones and emails
- Handling frontline sales and preparing quotations (including online and social media enquiries)
- Preparing invoices and following up on overdue accounts
- Ordering products and sourcing comparative pricing
- Scheduling and coordinating installation jobs
- General office administration as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong customer service experience and a professional phone manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer and CRM/data entry skills
- Great organisational ability and attention to detail
- A positive, self-motivated attitude and willingness to learn
- A supportive team environment in a growing local business
- Variety in your day-to-day work
- Flexibility with hours (casual with potential for full-time)
