The Role

As a Float Legal Assistant, you will gain invaluable experience working across multiple practices groups. No two days will be the same

Your day to day duties will include:

  • File management (opening, closing, filing and archiving)
  • Monthly Billing, time entry, and expense management
  • Preparing correspondence and legal documents
  • Scanning, binging and printing legal documents
  • Liaising with clients
  • Diary and email management
  • Additional office support such as relief reception cover

You

In order to hit the ground running, it is essential that the successful candidate has 2+ years experience as a Legal Secretary in private practice. As well as:

  • A willingness to work flexibility as part of a team
  • Strong MS Suite and typing skills
  • A flexible approach and ability to manage conflicting deadlines
  • Strong Billing experience (ideally using Aderant, Elite, or Affinity)
