About the role

The opportunity has arisen for an Administration Officer to join the team on a casual basis. The Administration Office is a key support role supporting the Minerals Australia's Inspection and Trade teams.

Duties

  • Analysis of results reporting for clients
  • Invoicing clients after job completion
  • Uploading vessel data to the Portal
  • Purchase Requisitions for sub-contracted work to third parties
  • Generating & receipting purchase orders and organising deliveries
  • Maintaining Certificate register
  • Maintaining Storeroom & register – disposing of umpire samples
  • Sending out Umpire samples
  • Entering job bookings into register, creating electronic file in SharePoint
  • Stock inspections as required
  • Provide assistance to the management team as required
  • General office administrative duties, including report writing, report tracking and filing.

Skills and experience

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Computer literacy, with intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent people skills and customer service skills, with the ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Be able to multi-task and handle matters promptly and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and producing quality outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A quick learner with a "can do attitude".
  • Previous Administration experience in a similar role preferred
  • Accounts and/or invoicing experience preferred
