P/ T Payroll Assistant

With an excellent reputation the industry, this local organisation currently has fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to start immediately on a 12 Months Contract role.
This is a fun, vibrant and exciting working environment that can offer flexibility, autonomy within a highly supportive and motivated team.
Duties are outlined but not limited to the following:
- Accurate & timely processing of the fortnightly payroll data using Payroll Metrics & UKG Systems
- Setting up new employees & updating employee information
- Termination & redundancy calculations
- Coordinate end of month and end of quarter/end of year processes
- Dealing with payroll enquiries internally & externally
- Month & year end reporting, reconciliation & payments
Required skills:
- Exposure and experience of Payroll Metrics in your current or previous role is desirable not mandatory.
- Solid full function end to end payroll processing
- Strong, confident & up to date payroll knowledge
- Ability to prioritise workflows, work autonomously with high attention to detail
- Strong customer focus to ensure outstanding customer experience.
- A real problem solver
