People in Payroll are excited to be partnering with a highly regarded ASX listed retail organisation in Melbourne. We are seeking an experienced
Senior Payroll Officer
to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity with clear growth pathways—whether into leadership or payroll systems. The business is offering genuine scope to make this role your own.

Key Duties:

  • End-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy across data entry, calculations, and deductions.
  • Maintain employee data and profiles to the highest standard.
  • Respond to and resolve payroll-related queries in a timely manner.
  • Deliver regular reporting and payroll analytics, including inputs for board and committee papers.
  • Manage and action tickets within agreed timeframes.
  • Provide payroll insights and analysis to support business decision-making.

Ideal Experience:

  • Demonstrated end-to-end payroll experience in a high-volume environment (large teams or complex processing highly desirable).
  • Previous exposure to the retail sector.
  • Strong reporting, analytics, and manual payroll calculation skills.
  • Experience with in-house payroll systems.
  • Solid knowledge of EBAs and awards, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team.

Salary:
$110,000 + Super
