About the opportunity

The SMSF Association is the peak professional body for Australia's self-managed superannuation sector. We're on the lookout for an experienced
Marketing Specialist
to help us grow our national impact and deliver outstanding value to our members.

This is a mid-level specialist role where you'll take ownership of integrated campaigns, content development, and digital engagement that drives member acquisition, retention, and event participation.

What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end marketing campaigns (planning, execution, optimisation, reporting).
  • Develop engaging content across digital, social, print, and events.
  • Use CRM and automation tools to deliver segmented, impactful campaigns.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver on strategic goals.
  • Drive event marketing for our flagship National Conference, Technical Days, and community events.
  • Monitor analytics to refine and improve campaign performance.

What you'll bring

Essential:

  • 3–5+ years' marketing or communications experience.
  • Proven track record running integrated campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and/or marketing automation.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent.
  • Confident in using analytics to track, report and improve outcomes.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a membership or not-for-profit environment.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Google Analytics 4.
