Fine Dining Restaurant Lovat On The Beach in Avalon Beach serving modern Australian cuisine is looking for sous chef/chef/kitchen manager. Previous experience in similar role is a must. Competitive package plus super. Sponsorship is available for suitable candidate but you are required to work 6 months with us prior to this discussion.

Requirements of position

 Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

 Proven leadership and communication skills

 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment

 Demonstrated ability to create diverse and innovative menus

 planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies

 monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

 demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

 preparing and cooking food

 explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

 may select and train staff
