**The Company**

Our client is one of Melbourne's most sort after employers. With offices based near to the CBD they are in need of an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join a close-knit and friendly finance team.

The primary responsibility of the role is to take ownership of the accounts receivable function, leading a team of 4 and overseeing all collections processes, partnering with internal managers and external clients to maintain operational best practice.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Finance Manager your duties will include:

- Overseeing the Accounts Receivable Team with 4 direct reports.
- Responsibility for managing all credit functions, including matching of EFT's, BPAY, Credit Cards and Cheques, onboarding new customers, dispute resolution, and account reconciliations.
- Maintaining customer relationships to retrieve payments across multiple currencies.
- Escalate action on overdue accounts.
- Manage bad debt process and liaise with debt collection agency
- Weekly and monthly reporting to Finance Manager

**Your Profile**

To be successful in this position you will have a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role. You will be an excellent communicator, a team player, and have a passion for enhancing customer experience. You will be systems savvy and possess an intermediate level of Excel skills.
