**About the Client**

Our client is a leading organisation in the education sector located in Melbourne's inner east. Due to an expansion in business operations, they are seeking an experienced and ambitious Accounts Receivable Manager to join their finance team.

**The Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:

- Overseeing a team of two
- Developing policy and procedures around credit and customer set up
- Driving the billings process
- Mentoring and training
- Management of major accounts
- Overseeing the collections process and handling escalations
- Handling complex reconciliations
- Developing management reporting and KPI's

**The successful applicant will have**
- Prior management experience in a similar role
- Experience across both Billing and Credit is highly regarded
- Exposure to process improvement and streamlining procedures
- A manager who is passionate about developing their staff
- Excellent communication skills
