**The Role**
Under limited guidance, you will:
- Develop intelligent software agents that will be used in autonomous cyber defence systems deployed at the tactical edge.
- Progress the state-of-the-art in artificial intelligence and/or machine learning, and cyber security.
- Communicate and demonstrate research outcomes to stakeholders, and manage and contribute to collaborative relationships with academia and international partners.
**About our Team**
- Experience in undertaking research utilising OpenAI Gym environments, such as the Cyber Operations Research Gym (CybORG).
- Experience working with modern programming languages typically used in artificial intelligence and/or machine learning research such as Python.
- Experience contributing to external collaborations with academia, as well as with local and international partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as demonstrated by an ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, team-members and collaborators.
