**The Role**
We are looking for an experienced analyst skilled in S&T methods relevant for analysing capability: understanding future needs, exploring and defining future options, assessing contributing technologies in order to inform pathways for technology development for a capable future ADF.

**About our Team**
Combat Capability Analysis (CCA) is responsible for the characterisation of existing and planned systems and capabilities, and development of new concepts for the integrated joint force. This includes the identification of current and future capability gaps, and potential mitigations of these through existing or future systems to effectively capitalise on technology innovation to deliver a robust, adaptive and potent defence force. We work with new and novel technologies such as hypersonics, directed energy, and other emerging concepts.
- Identifying client questions and analytical requirements, and translating these into S&T studies that leverage the technical and analytical knowledge resident in the team.
- Delivering a personal contribution to the development and identification of methods, tools and techniques for weapons system assessment that build the capability of the team.
- Developing and shaping the Defence S&T capability through engaging across DST and Defence, industry, academia, and international partners to build productive relationships.
