Our state government client is seeking a Human Resource Officer.

**Your new company**

Our state government client based in Perth’s CBD is currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Officer to fill their temporary vacancy. This is a 4 to 5-month temporary contract with the opportunity to extend whilst they go through an organisational restructure.

**Your new role**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring and responding to a range of HR matters via the HR inbox
- Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of employees
- Payroll assistance
- Assisting the wider HR team with general administrative support

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

- Previous HR officer/ administrator experience
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Quick learner
- Ability to maintain data accurately in HR databases

**What you'll get in return**
