**About the Role**:
We’re seeking a dedicated HR Officer to join our client’s team. In this pivotal role, you’ll support a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, policy development, training, compliance, and health & safety. Your expertise will help shape a dynamic workplace culture while ensuring adherence to relevant legislation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company that values innovation and excellence.
**What we need from you**:
- Deliver HR activities and processes, including Employment Lifecycle coordination, document management, and drafting employment-related letters.
- Support leaders and employees to enhance working relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing enquiries and information flows.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring compliance with legislation and governance standards.
- Resolve employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Act as Rehabilitation & Return to Work Coordinator, liaising with injured workers, insurers, and medical providers.
**What you'll bring**:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Management, or Psychology.
- Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, with expertise in employee relations and advisory services. Even some minor experience in worker's compensation or industrial relations is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Proven organisational, time management, and detail-oriented skills.
- Experience in grievance handling and understanding of Work Health & Safety principles and processes.
