**HR Officer / Administrator**

**About the Position**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Officer / Administrator to join our growing Engineering Business on the Tonkin Gap Alliance Project (TGA).

The role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone keen to start their HR career and will report to and provide critical support to the HR & Training Advisor, working closely with the project teams to assess and assist with HR-related needs, creating collaborative partnerships to deliver a value-added service.

**What to expect in the role**:

- Establish strong, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external
- Management of COVID-19 construction industry requirement changes and processes
- Assist in maintaining HRMP and HRIS systems
- Assisting in day to day Human Resources Administration
- Ensure the smooth processing of all employee related changes and all HR administration
- Asset in providing data for dashboards to drive initiatives
- Assist in coaching, mentor supervisors and managers in employee relations and grievances
- Drive recruitment requirements and communications with parent companies
- Assist and own the onboarding process for new employees
- Assist in the booking and tracking of training for employees and traineeships both on the project and externally.
- Managing training bookings, find training solutions for line management in relation to training compliance requirements (i.e. Priority Start, project relevant training)

**What we are seeking**:

- Strong organisational skills
- A willingness to learn
- Experience in a similar industry in Human Resources, Recruitment and/or Training and Development
- Degree qualification in Human Resources or similar
- Experience or willingness to learn end to end recruitment
- Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems
- Good understanding or willingness to learn in the Industrial Relations and Enterprise Agreements space
- Creative passion for finding the best HR solutions for the business
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, written and verbal communication skills which enable you to assist in resolution of key stakeholders concerns
- An inherent ability to engage with people at all levels
- Strong ability to coach others in following the correct people processes
