Part-Time HR Officer

We're partnering with a well-respected Not-for-Profit organisation to recruit a part-time HR Officer to support their People & Culture team whilst they navigate a team restructure. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, structure, and making a meaningful impact in a purpose-driven environment.

Location: East Perth

Working hours: Monday - Wednesday

Pay rate: $48ph - 50ph + Super

Start date: ASAP

Duration: approx. 2 months with potential to extend

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting with the preparation and coordination of employment contracts and documentation
  • Maintaining and updating personnel files and HR records
  • Managing the HR inbox and responding to employee queries
  • Coordinating inductions, onboarding, and training bookings in collaboration with the L&D team
  • Supporting the smooth running of the HRIS and ensuring data accuracy

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an HR or People & Culture support role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Confident using HR systems and MS Office

  • A proactive and approachable attitude, with excellent communication skills

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Professional presentation and demeanor, with discretion and sound judgment in all matters.
  • Compassionate and empathetic, with an understanding of sensitive working environments.
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance (within the last 3 months).
