Interim assignment for a HR Officer within Local Government
**Your new role**

The role of the HR Officer is to support the People Services Team in the delivery of a broad range of HR services, including some process ownership, by undertaking a range of coordination, administration, scheduling, liaison, and processing duties related to:

- Recruitment, selection and on-boarding;
- Fitness for work;
- Employee performance cycle;
- Position management including higher duties and change of terms requests;
- Policy review and continuous improvement;
- User functionality review and testing of HR processes.

**What you'll need to succeed**

This role will suit someone who is customer focused, and experienced in liaising with a diverse audience. Yu must be detail oriented with an affinity for accurate process compliance in a fast paced setting. You will be independent and proactive, exercising good judgement when handling confidential information or referring more complex matters for team consideration. Capable of responding to general HR and IR queries as a first point of contact.
