Experienced HR Officer required for growing retail organisation based East of Perth CBD.

Our client is an exciting global organisation based within the retail sector.

An opportunity has presented for an experienced HR Officer to join their Perth Head Officer in a six-month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the HR Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:

- Providing support to employee and managerial queries
- Drafting and raising contracts and letters of employment
- Management of all documentation pertaining to the probation period, changes of employment, job descriptions, and termination
- Ensuring that all HR files are maintained
- Providing support with new employees and changes of employment to the external payroll provider
- Support the implementation and data integrity of the new HRIS system
- Ad hoc projects and tasks where required

This opportunity will suit an experienced HR Officer who is seeking the chance to further consolidate your existing human resources skills. Ideally you will possess a tertiary qualification in human resources or a related specialism, and it is essential that you possess prior experience surrounding transactional human resources. You will pride yourself on your attention to detail, and your ability to manage multiple tasks, be a proactive team member, and possess a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office. It is necessary for you to have a working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.

An immediate start is required, and the position will be offered as a six-month fixed term contract.

This position will be office based.
