**About Us**
Our charming residential aged care facility, Guildford Village, has been caring for the elderly in the Perth community since 1982. Our facility strives to feel like home for the residents and our staff are tasked with caring for residents as they would for their own family. **About the Role**
The Hotel Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper and efficient management of the Guildford Village residential facility, including managing several budgets, the continuous quality improvement plan and the broader service delivery operation for the facility, with a particular focus on the lifestyle and hospitality services that are delivered within the facility. The role seeks to develop and improve these services, all while considering and following all relevant legislations, standards and internal policies. The position plays a critical role in driving positive culture, service excellence and a person-centered approach to care through the mentorship and supervision of staff teams
**Key focuses for the role include**:
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, legislations and policies.
- Managing financial aspects of facility operation such as annual budgets, cost controls and financial reporting.
- Responsibility for overseeing the management of staff, including performance, recruitment, rostering, training and culture.
- Ensuring that the facility is operating within budget, and operating in line with funding requirements and assessments, all whilst looking for ways to optimise revenue for the facility.
- Creating a feedback-positive workplace that makes staff and residents feel valued for their input, and seeks to act on the feedback received.
**This role is located at our charming residential aged care facility in Guildford and will be hired on a permanent full time basis.**
**Skills & Experience**
**Key criteria include the below**:
- Significant experience gained within management or supervisory capacities within a well-reputed leisure/hospitality sector.
- Tertiary qualifications within hospitality or business will be well regarded.
- Proven business acumen and analytical skills that have the capacity to inform business decisions.
- Possess or willing to obtain an NDIS clearance check, an unrestricted WA drivers licence and all mandatory vaccinations, including influenza and COVID-19.
