**THE ROLE**
As part of our diverse team based in **Parramatta, Newcastle or Brisbane**, you will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.
The Technical specialist will be supporting the Case Managers by providing up-to-date technical guidance on all claims and assisting in their administration within our National Self Insurance portfolio.
This will be a **full time, permanent** position based in the **Parramatta, Newcastle or Brisbane** offices, with flexibility to work from home.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coach a team of Case Managers and support the delivery of excellence in customer experience.
- Assess all technical considerations of compensation payments and liability determination.
- Work within the legislative and regulatory environment to optimise outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Participate and provide technical support in employer claims reviews.
- Responsible for conducting internal health checks and audits and working with external auditors.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Strong technical experience in workers’ compensation claims.
- Proven experience working with corporate clients and external stakeholders.
- Experience in coaching & mentoring case managers in the workers compensation industry.
- You have previous experience working as a senior case manager or a technical specialist background.
- Tertiary studies in Allied Health or Legislation is desirable.
